    Manager, Marketing - Africa

    Job description

    Overview

    SAS is searching for Go-to–Market Marketing Manager to work in South Africa reporting to the Regional Marketing Director and covering the region over Africa and Italy working closely with the Head of the regional Go To Market in planning and executing the GTM campaigns accordingly to the sales target.

    Your Key Objectives Will Be

    • Leading and delivering marketing efforts designed to accelerate revenue, increase renewals, maximize opportunities and build awareness through an integrated go-to-market plan aligned to the initiative, product line, business unit and/or target account;
    • Creating and executing lead generation marketing campaigns and executing them (events/webinars, direct emails etc);
    • Working with the SAS CRM system and other marketing databases while updating, measuring and reacting to success metrics, performing actionable analysis and making data driven decisions to improve outcomes and ROI;
    • Driving initiatives within the organization by pulling people together and motivating them toward a common goal.

    Desired Skills And Experience

    • 6+ years of regional experience in technology and/or B2B marketing in a fast-paced, sales & marketing oriented environment;
    • Experience of working in matrix, virtual team environment;
    • Excellent communication (written and verbal) in English
    • Experience of working with CRM;
    • Experience in organizing events;
    • Strong organizational and administration skills;
    • Strong analytical capabilities and excellent numerical skills
    • Good knowledge of MS Office and databases;
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to travel frequently.

    Education

    Bachelor's degree, preferebly in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or other related field
