A fantastic opportunity is available for a Category Finance Manager (Temp) to join RB’s Commercial Finance team.

This role is a commercial business partnering role focused on supporting the successful delivery of profitability targets. We require a driven and dynamic individual to provide robust financial support and challenge to the South Africa Commercial Controller and Marketing Brand Executive Team in the specific areas of Brand P&L Performance, New Product Development Financials, Marketing Spend Control, Consumer Promotion Review & Control, Planning and Financial Analysis. You will need to provide the necessary financial appraisal, analysis and insight into all matters relating to Marketing activity and associated return on investment across all existing and proposed product ranges.

As an integral member of an experienced and dynamic team, you will be responsible for financial control, month end activities, governance and key business partnering. The ideal candidate will be a commercially astute qualified accountant with experience in an FMCG environment, possessing strong skills in analysis and excellent communication and influencing skills.

• Very strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Exposure/ working knowledge of ERP systems, Management Information Systems, Microsoft Office (Advanced level).
• Excellent system & technical knowledge with a very advanced level in Excel.
• Strong commercial awaren ess and understanding of business processes and operations, particularly in FMCG environment.
• In depth understanding of respective Finance function processes
• Must have matric and be CIMA or CA qualified.
• Must have demonstrated experience of at least 2 years in similar roles in FMCG company & industry.
• Must be a RSA citizen.

Please note this is a temporary position for a period of 7 months.
