Job description

FocusPoint is looking for an Operations Support Specialist/Research Associate. The key responsibilities for the position are:

• General call handling: logging, assigning and tracking enquiries from incoming global calls.
• Emergency call taking and assisting with crisis response and management.
• Continuous research and analysis of current global events.
• Identifying travel safety threats and sending out alerts
• Providing information to clients on our products and services.
• Providing in-depth reports on global security threats.
• Writing reports and alerts.

The requirements of the candidate are:

• Tertiary education advantageous
• Excellent written and spoken English, other languages advantageous
• Previous call centre experience
• Own transport essential
• Computer literate

Applicants should be prepared to work a 12-hour shift cycle, weekends (minimum 2 weekends worked) and public holidays included.
