Main Responsibilities

• Project delivery strategy development
• Project organisation structuring
• Project costing and finance
• Implementation of project management systems and processes
• Implementation of client specific project management guidelines and manuals
• Stakeholder management and needs analysis
• Project risk assessment, planning and management
• Project and construction progress monitoring and control
• Project change control, reporting, information management and communication
• To conduct work ethically, diligently in compliance with deadlines
• To ensure that work is done in accordance with acceptable standards of both RHDHV and that of the Client
• Maintain project records in accordance with internal quality management system
• Effective training and mentoring of junior staff to ensure the continued development of the team
• Project Management from inception, concept design, detail design and documentation construction and close out.

Minimum qualifications, skills and experience

• Applicable BComm / Business Management Degree / BTech in Project Management or equivalent with Project Management and Financial Management as majors
• Professionally registered with PMI, PMP or SACPCMP as a Project Manager is a prerequisite
• Minimum of 15 years experience in Project Management
• Experience in civil engineering and built environment will be advantageous
• Valid SA drivers license
• Computer literate in MS Office and MS Projects are essential
• Effective report writing and presenation skills are essential
• Effective team leadership skills
• Must be able to network with relevant stakeholders
