Job description

We are currently looking for a skilled and dynamic IT Technician in Cape Town.

You will need a minimum of 5 years advanced desktop, server and general infrastructure support experience in the SME sector. You will assist, support and maintain a number of clients across various industries and you will be exposed to a number of exciting technologies.

We are looking for individuals with a positive and vibrant attitude, who are also well presented and understand the dynamics of client relations and the importance of good email and telephone ettiquite.

Our Helpdesk team will support you in your role, control your scheduled and assist with workload accordingly. Your time must be flexible as after-hour work will be required on occasion.

Salary range – R10 000 to R15 000 CTC, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements:

• A+ / N+ or equivalent
• MCSE / MCITP or equivalent
• Advanced desktop support (hardware/software)
• Support for MS office
• Extensive experience with Window operating systems
• Telephony and VOIP experience
• General administration and management of Microsoft Windows servers
• Solid understanding of networking (LAN/WAN)
• Solid understanding of MS Exchange, Ofice 365 and Mimecast
• Advanced knowledge of WiFi technologies
• In order to apply for this position you will need your own transport, a driver’s license and stay in close proximity to Cape Town CBD.
