    Process Industrial/Mechanical Engineer

    Job description

    • Make and Implement Processes for Improving the functionality, maintenance cost reduction and improving the safety level of machines and equipment.
    • Analyze technical modification, engineering changes and new product implementation
    • Creating new procedures, working instructions and operating instructions
    • Improve the working flux and lay out of the equipment
    • Analyse the problems in cutting, crimping, preparation, assembly area and resolve.
    • Implementing new projects
    • Issue specific working instructions
    • Participate in QIE, War room, 8 D meetings, report and track progress
    • Prepare quotations for new components and tools
    • Plan, organize, lead and control direct reports
    • Set objectives for continuous improvement and implement.
    • Conduct investigations to determine root cause
    • Manage expense within budget
    • Identify training needs
    • Present progress status at gap closure meeting
    • Lean Manufacturing Project Implementation
    • Value Stream Mapping
    • Six Sigma
    • 5Why, DFMEA, PFMEA, CP
    • PPAP, PSW, APQP

    Required Skills

    Engineering Degree/Diploma (Industrial/Mechanical

    Required Experience

    • Engineering Degree/Diploma - Industrial/Mechanical Engineering
    • At least 5 years in an automotive manufacturing facility.
    • Previous working experience in harness industry would be advantageous
