Main Job Purpose

Analytical support & recommendations to CCD & Account teams on trade investment decisions, Lead continued efforts on improving user experience on the PPM system together with global IT team, Subject market expert on influencing category specific promotional investment choices via robust analytics and spend patterns into CCBT’s & CDLT. SME on Tableau to led development & roll out within SA

Job Summary

• Business partner IT team globally & lead local continued efforts on improving user experience on the PPM system together with IT team
• Influencing category specific promotional investment choices via robust analytics and spend patterns into CCBT’s & CDLT
• Expected to be fully proficient on Tableau to led development & roll out in SA
• Consolidate & Business partner CCD & Account Directors monthly on all pre-evaluations including sign off
• Provides recommendations to business on “Red, Green, Amber” promotions based on Pre & Post evaluation analysis
• Align CCBT leads and other cross functional partners on decision’s, insights and findings to ensure quick implementation.
• Roll out implementation of key projects such as central Data Hub
• Expected to be fully proficient on data systems including ACNielsen, PPM, EPOS, & other retail specific systems.
• Advanced excel skills are expected
• Strong understanding required on FMCG environment & or Retail market in South Africa

Key Requirements

• BCOM/ CIMA or equivalent
• 2-3 years working on Tableau system
• Experience within FMCG or retail
• Previous project management experience required
• Influencing skills, ability to influence senior leaders within the business
• Strong attention to detail with highly analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders & greater Big data team
• An out of the box thinker with the ability to problem solve
• Ability to present complex information in a simplified manner
• Business partnering: CCBTs/ Board/ CDLT: Identify where high value is at stake and where interventions would be required
• Preferably some IT type background and ability to navigate through difficult and complex IT systems
