We are an exciting new business that is fast growing and expanding our fitness clubs within the Cape Town Region and have a vacancy for Club General Manager

ROLE DESCRIPTION: The role of the Club General Manager is to oversee day to day club operations and responsible for the external relationship management with key stakeholders

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Manage effectiveness
• Create a culture for performance excellence
• Financial Management
• Prepare and provide budget proposals to achieve budgeted profit margin
• Sales Support
• Oversee the Sales departments to achieve set monthly, quarterly and annual budgets
• Fitness Support
• Ensure the member receives highest quality service from Fitness Trainers; Personal Trainers and Freelance Instructors at all times
• Operations Support
• Oversee the day to day operations of the club and implement and manage all mitigating recommendations to minimize the risk
• Stakeholder Relationship
• Manage and Maintain all stakeholder’s relationship and ensure all services level agreements adheres to the company policies and procedures

ROLE QUALIFICATION:

• Must have a matric certificate or equivalent
• 5 years Management experience from within the Fitness Industry

ROLE COMPETENCIES:

• Must be excellent people manager
• Must be good communicator, able to deal with all levels of stakeholders
• Integrity & honesty
• Be a motivator while having fun

REMUNERATION

Basic salary range of R25-R35k dependent on experience and up to R70k OTE per month
