The purpose of this role is to influence strategic decision-making through data driven analysis and reporting on the performance of the loan book.
Qualifying criteria: A relevant graduate degree in Finance/Statistics/Economics/Risk Management/Business Science/Engineering/ Operational research (Required).
A relevant post-graduate qualification (Hons / Masters) with majors in Finance/Statistics/Economics/Risk Management/Business Science (Advantageous).
2-5 years’ experience in a retail credit, collections or recoveries environment (Required).
Business- focussed analytical experience and excellent problem solving abilities (Required).
Ability to engage with and influence senior management (Required).
Advanced SQL and MS Excel experience (Required).
Qlikview/R/SAS (Advantageous).
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with operations, monitoring and insight teams as well as with senior executives to understand their key business questions.
Combine technical, analytical and business skills to make actionable recommendations to the business.
Teamwork, sharing of ideas and mentorship within the BI team.
Assist in the development of key performance indicators, and operational/management reporting for the Capitec credit division.
