POSITION SYNOPSIS

Provides support to the front office through governance and administration of Marketing’s commodity contracts and distribution agreements

Requirements

• Serious contenders will have a Degree/BTECH/National Diploma in Commercial/Economics/Supply Chain/Business Management with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in marketing roles in commodity markets;
• Experience in the relevant markets advantageous;
• Experience in drafting of commercial contracts advantageous;
• Experience with SAP applications is essential
• Fluent English, both verbal and written;
• Knowledge of other languages relevant to the specific market advantageous;
• The ability to work proactively and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders is essential.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Manages contracts (including distribution agreements) through the contract life cycle;
• Ensures accurate system entry and filing of contracts in contract repositories;
• Works closely with the Marketing Manager to monitor contract performance;
• Runs monthly validation checks to ensure price accuracy;
• Maintains standard contract templates in SAP;
• Provides leadership to optimise and improve contract entry and other system-related processes;
• Provides leadership to ensure SAP processes are understood, valued and adhered to across the Function;
• Influences and shapes the culture to ensure a safe, sustainable and disciplined approach to work.
