Software SDLC Project Manager at IsoMetrix GRC Software

Job description

We require an experienced Software SDLC Manager looking for new challenges in a high growth area.

Main purpose of the job:

Manage the full SDLC life cycle of IsoMetrix software that Metrix sells globally.

Primary responsibilities:

• Manage the full SDLC of our packaged Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) software (including both Core Development and Solution Templates) in line with Agile methodology.
• Project manage the development deliverables and deadlines as well as capacity requirements for both the Core Development and Solution Template departments.
• Continuously innovate, optimize and challenge the status quo with respect to development methods, systems, supporting technologies and processes.
• Motivate and inspire the development team (incorporating Solutions, SQL and .Net developers and software testers) to achieve deadlines and deliver quality and innovation.
• Communication of software deliverables, timelines and any changes thereto to all stakeholders.
• Manage and oversee deliverables of outsourced development service providers.
• Oversee brainstorming workshops and coordinating prioritisation of requirements.
• Oversee requirements gathering.
• Ensure all processes are followed, e.g. specifications are reviewed by agreed upon panels.
• Plan and manage timeline for Service Pack Releases.
• Coordinate timelines for development tasks with Development Managers.
• Manage changes to timelines where necessary and escalate any concerns with regards achieving deadlines.
• Escalation of issues and problems to Development Director.
• Co-ordinate meetings of the Product Strategy and Change Control Committees

Minimum qualification and experience:

• University degree plus project management course
• Advanced knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle, Agile development methodology and UML.
• 3+ Years experienced in managing a packaged software SDLC and delivery thereof.

Additional requirements:

• Team lead / management experience. Exposure to web based software would be an advantage.
• Scrum master training
