    Senior Product Manager Clinical

    Job description

    R 800,000.00 to R 1,200,000.00 Per Annum (Dependant on relevant work experience)

    Key Established Concern within the IT Health Industry is looking for an Entrepreneurial Senior Product Manager coming from a Clinical background. The Company specialises in the Healthcare Industry and ensures that the Digital Solutions are innovative to ensure that patients, healthcare providers and other role players in the healthcare ecosystem benefit by collaborating together.

    Purpose of the Role

    • To define and drive the Digital Healthcare/Clinical Product Strategy and Roadmaps to ensure the delivery of meaningful and differentiated value to Healthcare Providers.
    • Ensure that Products/Services are discovered, designed, enhanced and packaged to deliver meaningful, differentiated and easy to experience value to Healthcare Providers
    • Ensure on-going collaboration and integration across all Teams, through-out the Products Life-Cycle
    • Adopt and agile and iterative approach approach to getting things done
    • Lead and manage a Team – Business UX Analyst and Trial Analyst

    Job Description

    • Have an intimate understanding of a Healthcare Provider’s World and their respective Clinical related needs. Proposes appropriate Digital Solutions to address these needs
    • Responsible for the commercial success of products, from developing the Business Case to ensuring on-going healthy Operating Profit in line with EVA requirements
    • Prioritise product backlogs focused on Client Value, Client Growth and Revenue
    • Collaborating with multiple cross-functional Teams (including business insights, engineering, client service and marketing teams) to ensure that product designs and end-to-end Client experiences are defined through behaviour design
    • Manage process, with Trial Analyst, to quickly test concepts, hypothesis and minimal viable products with clients
    • Ensure that competitor activities and offerings are well understood and up-to-date
    • Manages the Products full lifecycle, from ideation to retirement
    • Ensures on-going monitoring of product value to clients

    Job Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Healthcare related degree. Qualified Medical Doctor will be advantageous OR BSc and worked in a Digital Medical and Clinical Environment
    • A minimum of 5 years Digital Clinical/Healthcare experience (Product Management, Product Planning and Product Strategy)
    • Experience in designing and delivering successful Digital Clinical/Healthcare Products or Services that delivered on intended Value Proposition
    • Business related degree would be advantageous
    • A minimum of 3 years of line management experience
    • Experience in Business Analysis, User Experience and Behaviour Design will be advantageous
    • If you have worked in a Medical Aid Environment that is also an option, however in this capacity
    • Excellent Team Work Skills

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Intimate understanding of a Medical Practitioners world
    • Extensive knowledge and application of Product Management Principles
    • Proven ability to influence cross-functional Teams without formal direct line management authority
