    Account Executive

    Job description

    Requirements

    • To grow the business with existing and new accounts within a defined industry portfolio
    • To sell, market and promote food ingredients products to current and potential customers.
    • Identify new opportunities within the market segments.
    • Increase sales, gross profit and volume budget expectations.
    • Manage and forecast product within the industry categories assigned for both existing and new business achieved.
    • To actively provide reports and market intelligence on a monthly basis in relation to the markets specified
    • Liaise with purchasing department regarding stock purchasing and costing requirements.
    • Liaise with customer service & supply chain personnel in relation to customer orders.
    • 2-5 years Food sales-orientated environment essential
    • Willingness to increase product knowledge
    • Ability to build on customer relationships
    • High degree customer orientation -commitment to customer problem solving with an ability to deliver high service levels.
    • Attention to detail in all aspects of the business
    • High level of negotiation skills and ability to identifying opportunities.
    • Excellent communication skills, internal and external customers
    • High level of computer skill and accuracy
    • Positive outlook and approach to business and customers
    • A strong work ethic
