QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 - 3 years web design experience
• 2 - 3 years producing front-end production code in a deadline orientated environment
• Portfolio showcasing strong creative concepts and solid experience with a variety of industries and deliverables
• Bachelors degree in multimedia or web design advantageous but not essential
• Advanced skills for professional web design will be an advantage

SYSTEMS KNOWLEDGE:

• HTML5
• HTML
• PHP
• XML
• Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
• API integration
• Database creation, integration and management (MySql,Oracle)
• Familiarity with SQL databases and their declarative query languages
• CodeIgnitor
• JavaScript/JQuery
• Apache
• WordPress
• Linux command line experience (nice to have)
• Participate in all aspects of development life cycle
• Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc
• Develop mockups and wireframes
• Logo, Banner Designs
• Mailers

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Writing and editing content
• Designing web page layout
• Determining technical requirements
• Updating websites
• Creating back up files
• Solving code problems
• Develop, implement, and maintain websites
• Assist content providers with updating website content
• Manage, conceptualize and execute Visual and web design for a variety of channels
• Work closely with product, editorial and other stakeholder teams in developing creative solutions
• Self-organize and manage several projects at a time
