Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Copy edit a wide range of content across digital platforms

• Work within CMS platforms
• Implementing basic SEO
• Styling text to fit tone
• Checking copy for grammatical and stylistic errors, and factual accuracy
• Ensuring client changes are implemented
• Planning ahead to meet deadlines
• Liaising with designers and editors on production and workflow
• Occasionally supporting the copywriters

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant degree/diploma in languages, media or journalism
• Fluency in English
• At least three years’ experience in a sub-editing role in relevant environment
• Sound knowledge of working and publishing digital content in a CMS
• Working knowledge of SEO
• Understanding of digital production principles
• Wide range of interests
• Excellent general knowledge
• Sound knowledge of editorial principles and journalism ethics
• Knowledge of basic HTML an advantage
• Experience in an agency environment an advantage
