Key Purpose

• To monitor and comply with all related HSEQ policies and procedures during operations at the Cape Town DC.
• To undertake safe and efficient loading, blending, storage and offloading in order to optimise safety and financials.
• To monitor compliance of own truck deliveries and third party deliveries."

Key Responsibilities

• Budget Administration
• Annual input into budget
• Inventory Management
• Education & Experience Matric and or equivalent Mandatory
• 3 years of Plant Operational Experience

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes Knowledge

• In depth knowledge of electrical motors/pumps/meters
• In depth knowledge of capabilities and use of fire fighting equipment
• Detailed knowledge of relevant labour legislation and OHS Act
• Understanding of ISO 9000 / 14000
• In depth understanding of hazardous environments and flameproof equipment
• In depth knowledge of petroleum products storage
• Working knowledge of Engen’s HSE policies and procedures
• Sound knowledge of HSEMS
• Working knowledge of SAP PM Module
• Working knowledge of identifying safety hazards and/or risks
• An understanding of engineering design, components and equipment relating to depot operations
• A working knowledge of costing principles, planning and budget control
