Marketing Lead for South Africa and SAEM at Mastercard

Requirements

This role is to lead Marketing in the South Africa and SAEM markets and is responsible for:

• Building brand strength and preference based on solid consumer insights
• Overseeing marketing programs to ensure best alignment of Mastercard resource against marketing to drive incremental profitable GDV and revenue
• Maximising franchise value by delivering greater customer support and increased value to key customers across South Africa and SAEM markets
• Be a key driver of operational effectiveness through in-depth integration within ecosystem partners’ activities to deliver on Mastercard’s digital agenda in South Africa and SAEM markets
• Ensuring consistency with worldwide global brand positioning
• Ensuring marketing resources and investments dedicated to efforts that are both relevant locally and in alignment with regional and global priorities and strategies
• Align and coordinate promotional and marketing activities within the broader marketing eco-system in line with product delivery strategy and Mastercard brand DNA
