Duties and Responsibilities

Assisting with creditors and insurance specific

payments:

• Creating payments on the FNB OB system
• Requesting invoices from creditors / insurers
• Capturing creditors and half cost invoices
• Creditors recons and resolution of all queries.
• Commission, underwriting, claims and adhoc
• payments as and when required

Banking:

• Reconciliations
• Updating cashbook and general ledger
• Posts, checks and proofs entries to general ledger
• Insurance specific administration and reconciliations

Reporting:

Preparation of monthly reports as and when required

Adhoc Request:

• Adhoc tasks as and when they arise
• General office administration

Experience and Educational Requirements

• 3 Year Bachelor’s Degree or studying towards a financial qualification.
• Insurance specific experience will be advantageous
• Excellent computer literacy and Excel skills
• Analytical thinker with ability to resolve issues promptly & accurately
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to work independently with limited guidance
• Deadline driven with the ability to multi task
