Job Responsibilities

• Logistics Specialist
• Receive and Analyze Customer releases.
• Maintain MRP System. Load & run all supplier releases.
• Provide releases to Suppliers & expedite all goods & freight.
• Track all GIT & liaise with Freight forwarder iro schedules ensuring goods arrive on time.
• Ensure Stock Accuracy of components ordered.
• Ensure inventory levels are in line with targets
• Weekly review and presentation of 7 week potential shortage report, with actions.
• Manage Cycle count schedule and adjustments thereof

Required Skills

• Have knowledge of Customs requirements and standards.
• Sound Syspro system proficiency is essential.
• Accuracy, attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Required Experience

Minimum 5 years relevant experience in an automotive Logistics / Materials environment is essential. Preference will be given to candidates who have relevant VW working experience.
