Our key client has an exciting opportunity on a permanent basis with one of the largest technology groups in South Africa! If you enjoy a challenging environment, then this is the role for you!
You will be working across multiple projects within the organisation. The key projects included in the responsibility are Product and Integration projects.

A Day At The Office

• Taking responsibility for all aspects of the delivery of projects;
• Interfacing with Customer regarding product releases to ensure delivery of functionality as committed to Customer;
• Preparing and planning projects, and driving those plans through to a successful conclusion;
• Delivering the resultant projects on time and to budget, managing expectations and handling issues as required;
• Supporting demand management through understanding internal and external targets and milestones and monitoring these through agreed processes while highlighting and communicating those with a potential for non- or late delivery;
• Creating, maintaining, monitoring and communicating the Programme Roadmap in an agreed format for executive communication as required, and controlling all changes to the scope and execution of the roadmap appropriately; and
• Monitoring the Programme delivery according to the defined and agreed SDLC/methodology, which includes ensuring documentation is maintained in the agreed form within the correct defined central repository structures.

Job Requirements

To apply, you need to have a relevant University Degree, at least 6+ years' experience in a Project management role within an IT development environment, and at least 3 - 5 years' working in an IT development team as a developer or systems analyst.

You need to have experience and a certification in one of the following Project Management Methodologies:

• Waterfall;
• Agile Methodologies;
• PMBOK; and/or,
• Prince2.
