Requirements

• You’ll be based in Cape Town and report directly to the Managing Director, whilst leading your sales team of direct reports and key accounts (Grocers) managers whilst driving extraordinary results with a national 3rd party sales and merchandising team. There will be some travel to your regions to drive the sales delivery with customers and team, through your leadership and inspiration.
• You have a minimum 10yrs experience leading successful direct and 3rd party sales teams to execute and deliver extraordinary results through your leadership, commercial acumen and capability.
• You’re a great sales strategist, who brings teams together to unleash powerful plans that are clear and precise with successful outcomes you’re proud of. You can “commercialize” new product launches taking them to the market by leveraging your experience and capability to orchestrate successful activations.
• You have also been successful closing high level national accounts negotiations whilst simultaneously orchestrating your regional reports to achieve the same with their big customers, distributors and wholesalers.
• You’re sense and understanding of how to drive profitability with great forecasting, good controls, cost management and team inspiration is well balanced with a hunger for pace and velocity in all you do.
