Project Financial Accountant to assist the Unit Manager and Project Directors with the effective financial management of all allocated unit projects.
Assist project director/manager to complete all relevant project detail required to register a project on BST
Register and maintain the project details on BST
Analyse Unbilled WIP and prompt project director to place billing
Ensure all unbilled WIP is invoiced timeously
Maintain budgets per phase, task and org
Analyse variances and debtors age analysis
Review Income Statement and overheads monthly and assist with exceptions
Assist with compilation of information used for monthly reporting and annual budgets
Check WIP on the project to make sure that the invoice keeps track with the WIP, if not get reason from technical director and discuss with project accountant
Manage timesheet and expense groups
Assist with compilation of expense claims and ensure submission and approval
Creditor invoice capturing and payments
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum a B.Com or similar qualification
At least 5 years relative experience gained in a professional services environment
Sound understanding of Project Financial Accounting
