Key Results Areas:

• Conducting detailed first review of Treasury journals and COD invoices;
• Daily, Monthly and Annual Cash flow forecasting (manual and automated);
• Ensure relevant mandates are drafted and signed by all signatories on a timely basis;
• Accurate and timely submission of monthly bank reconciliations;
• Management of Treasury Early Warnings and KPIs;
• Management of bank queries;
• Management of Treasury Assistant.
• Ensuring that the necessary SARB approval is in place for cross border business activities.
• Accurate and timely GCNS payments;
• Accurate and timely loading of new vendor applications and banking details;
• Finance ECMS contract management;
• Open item (on statement) reporting and management;
• Complete and accurate review/loading of manual/automatic payments;
• Management of inter-company queries and open item management (including suspense receipts);
• Accurate and Monthly finance reporting;
• Management of internal and external audit queries;
• Accurate and timely review of COD invoice processing;
• Timely and accurate external reporting (SARB returns, STATS SA);
• Timely and accurate internal reporting (DC&P, FIHC, SDMS, DCF);
• GPPM and Treasury policy update and implementation;
• Management of payment deadlines.

Skills/Experience/Competencies

• A qualification in Accounting or Finance (Essential)
• 3-5 years treasury experience essential;
• 3-5 years solid accounting background;
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills;
• Experience with SAP (advantage).
