Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Gathering, documenting, analyzing and implementing integration solutions utilizing web services and APIs
• Gathering, documenting, analyzing and implementing integration solutions utilizing SQL statements
• Coaching, mentoring, and transfering knowledge to the client database administrators
• Working with third party applications to ensure best means of message transfers
• Manipulating source code to fix data integrity issues or to extend usability of software code
• Troubleshooting environment issues in the technical solution
• Identifying and reporting technical risks throughout the life of the project and providing mitigating strategies for those risks
• May be required to lead a team of client Integration Specialists through the analysis, design, construction, test, and implementation phases of the project

Qualifications:

General:

• Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) from a college or university
• Experience working for a multi-national company, or for a top/large company in the industry would be advantageous. Consulting and client-facing experience
• Experience in implementing ERPs, Billing, CRM or mission critical systems, preferably large solutions with a wide variety of integrated applications
• A self-driven approach that takes responsibility for quality deliverables, ensuring accuracy and completeness, with minimal direction required
• In-depth understanding of the software development life cycle, the different phases, and the expected deliverables
• Good soft and people skills such as communication, respect, team work, negotiation abilities, flexibility, positive aptitude, and a personal drive to accomplish goals and results
• Ability to estimate efforts and resources for tasks under your responsibility

Specific:

• Strong Background in .NET (C#, Visual Basic), SQL and programming
• Ability to design Integration Solutions based on multiple technologies (Web Services, XML/XSL, SQL, etc.)
• Experience with Industrial-standard data-transfer protocols (Ftp, http, telnet, SOAP, etc) and associated tools
• Logical and physical database design with industry standard modeling tools and standards (methods)
• Proven experience translating customer business needs and requirements into technical requirements and specifications
• General knowledge of Microsoft Server Products
• Experience in performing mission-critical database conversions using 4GL tools would be advantageous
