Job description

Do you have design and project management experience in refining processes from a chemical processing or refining industry? Work for a company that will be involved in waste to energy projects where you will have the growth opportunity to become their next Operations Manager.

Qualification:

• MSc / BSc / BEng / BTech in Chemical Engineering
• Pr. Eng is an advantage

Skills & Experience:

• Process and Plant Development
• Project Development
• Sign off and oversee installation of new equipment
• Ensure equipment is commissioned correctly
• Experience in developing a green fields technical design (non-negotiable)

Green field’s site identification

• Generate project schedules, costings and performance targets, and then perform tracking and reporting
• Overseeing the environmental legislation requirements and permissions an advantage
• Operations support when necessary

Financial management

Manage projects

Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in refining processes, hydrocarbon gas and liquid phases preferable from a refining or chemical processing industry

Job Description:

The individual will be responsible for the design, construction and commissioning of waste-to-energy and related process and production solutions, as well as green field’s site identification. You will be required to introduce and commission solutions to current projects, meet with relevant stakeholders, and oversee the environmental legislation requirements. Must be eager to grow with the possibility of becoming an Operations Manager.
