AR Billing Clerk at Servest SA

Job description

Responsible for assisting accounts receivable manager with executing objectives for the account receivable team that align with the accounting department’s goals.

The main responsibilities for this role include

• managing invoices, handling missed payments
• Generic Outputs
• General administration and record keeping that is accurate and up to date.
• Strictly adhering to all month end deadlines

Collections

• General administration and record keeping that is accurate and up to date.
• Strictly adhering to all month end deadlines.
• Insure that monthly collection target and debtors day are reached according to forecast.

Accounts Receivable

• Debtors account reconciliations prepared monthly and as and when required
• Ensuring all monthly and adhoc billings and issuing to customers on time
• Capture and accurately allocate cash receipts on a daily basis
• Obtain remittances from clients for payments received
• Prepare weekly debtors age analysis report and send to Operations and Financial Managers of the divisions
• Liaise with operations for debtors outstanding under their control, and sending weekly reports of the status of debtors
• Prepare weekly status report of collections and forecast debtors to be collected
• Exceed budgeted debtors days
• Monthly report on credit notes issued
