Job description

The successful candidate, reporting to the Senior Manager Operational Governance will be responsible for the following:

• Provide input and implement compliance framework and methodology to ensure achievement of business objectives in a cost effective manner and within the regulatory and legislative framework.
• Monitor compliance as per compliance risk management plans.
• Design and build compliance programs to minimise instances of non-compliance.
• Ensure compliance with Delegated Levels of Authority (DLA) according to company framework.
• Monitor compliance to legislation, rules, codes, standards, policies and procedures within relevant area and report issues of noncompliance to Executive Management and relevant committees.
• Ensure the promotion and assessment of the current state of compliance at Regional Airports.
• Develop and implement company compliance profiles.
• Monitor compliance management system to ensure compliance.
• Ensure close collaboration of all compliance activities with Risk Management and Internal Audit teams.
• Report to Management on strategic and operational compliance risks.
• Provide relevant and specialised technical support / advice to relevant stakeholders with regards to risks imposed to the company.

The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such, will be required:

• Matric
• BComm Finance
• CIMA membership is essential.
• IRMSA membership is recommended.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office package.
• The candidate must possess minimum 6-8 years’ compliance related experience supported by an in-depth knowledge of compliance with legislative requirements, compliance systems and processes.

Salary: R400 000 - R600 000
