Job Purpose
CSIS Global Due Diligence (“GDD”) is tasked with performing Enhanced Due Diligence (“EDD”) investigations to assist Citi’s businesses and other corporate risks functions to detect and report potential financial crime or other reputational and operational risks, such as risks of wrongdoing/corporate crime/fraud committed by counterparties; risks emanating from potential and/or on-going civil litigation and other similar higher-risk scenarios.
The aforementioned tasks are performed through the collection, collation, analysis and dissemination of information and intelligence from a wide variety of public and non-public information sources.

The GDD Investigator II – Sub Sahara Africa is an expert in the field of Enhanced Due Diligence investigations. It is the responsibility of the job holder to conduct complex EDD investigations in line with the key responsibilities highlighted below.

The EDD investigations assigned to GDD Investigator II may be complex in nature i.e. involving research in different languages and multiple jurisdictions and have a nexus to Sub Sahara Africa; tackling complex problems requiring multi-angle perspectives or producing detailed analysis in a limited timeframe.
