The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key performance areas:

• Plan and prioritise security awareness initiatives across the SARB Group, based on a needs assessment.
• Develop a SARB Group security awareness programme, incorporating schedules, methods, audience and resources.
• Drive the implementation of the security awareness programmes across the SARB Group and evaluate the effectiveness thereof.
• Guide the refinement and continuous improvement of tools, methods and processes in area of functional expertise. 
• Ensure that industry practices and changes are maintained and incorporated in own functional area. 
• Provide periodic reporting on awareness programmes status and effectiveness thereof.
• Engage with stakeholders across the SARB Group at various seniority levels, demonstrating the ability to solicit information as well as convey and explain information fluently

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must be in possession of:

• a B Degree (NQF 7) in Security/Information Technology or an equivalent qualification; 
• five to eight years’ experience in training, coaching and awareness in the security field; and
• solid technical and functional knowledge of security concepts and training and awareness programmes.
