Job Summary Statement Aveng Manufacturing Dynamic Fluid Control a Manufacturer of various types of valves and is a major supplier to both the South African and international markets.Aveng Manufacturing Dynamic Fluid Control is a business unit of the Aveng Group which actively pursues extensive global interests encompassing the building, construction, engineering, mining, manufacturing and steel processing industries.

The incumbent will be responsible to Perform as an engineer, or engineering technician in support of engineering research and application functions involving observation, study, design, experimentation and commercialization within the Technical Department in support of Operations and Sales and Marketing.

Minimum Requirements ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

• B. Eng. Mechanical      

Experience

• 5Years related work experience

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conclude detailed new product designs as per specifications and commercial viability
• Assess new projects viability and perform multi-disciplinary and integrated project engineering functions (plan, research, execute, budget, test)
• Analyse manufacturing facilities and processes
• Assist with the specification of machines for production
• Contribute to the improvement of manufacturing processes
• Compilation of support documentation for few products with Sales & Marketing
• Ensure the execution of product development and projects according to ISO standards
• Investigate and report on product failures, complaints and quality non-compliance issue
• Provide technical support to sales and marketing teams
