Salary R12 - 15k pm depending on experience

Love animals and have great design skills? Then this is the perfect job for you! A great opportunity has become available for a talented Digital Designer to join our pawesome team.

As the Digital Designer for PetHeaven.co.za, you will be responsible for all design related materials that include, but are not limited to, web layout design and tweaks, banners, email newsletters, packaging, print ads etc. You will need to ensure that the fun and quirkiness of our brand is reflected in an aesthetic fashion throughout all our visual communications. This position will suit somebody with a proactive and ambitious mindset, who is self-motivated to not only improve the Pet Heaven brand but also improve themselves.

What you'll be doing:

• Design and Maintain all company collateral
• Follow design briefs from concept to completion through verbal instructions or written specifications
• Contribute ideas and own the overall brief process
• Develop various HTML mailers that are responsive in nature
• Constantly refresh artwork for site banners, Carousels, CRM emails, advertisements etc…
• Present finalised ideas and concepts to management

Knowledge & Skills

• Minimum 2 year’s previous experience as a Digital/Web Designer
• A tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or Graphic Art
• Proficient with the following: Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, Dreamweaver, HTML and CSS
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• High quality standards with exceptional attention to detail
• Well-organised with the ability to meet deadlines timeously
