We are looking for a junior/graduate engineer that we can train and develop to be involve witth various aspects of project in the Food and Pharmaceutical Processing Industry.

The Company Is Involved With The Project Management, Design, Specification, Procurement, Construction And Commissionng Of a Wide Range Of Process And Facility Projects Including But Not Limitd To

• Pharmaceutical Processing Plants
• Food Processing Plants
• HVAC Systems
• Clean Room Design
• Faciliy layout, equipment positions, people, raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, effluent flows
• Clean and Dirty Utilities incl - Comp Air, Steam, Cooling, Waters

The company is based in Cape Town, but all employees can expect to be involved in various projects throughout South Africa. Therefore, the candidate must be prepared to travel for temporary timeframes in the project’s life cycle.

JOB Tasks And Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with the project management, detailed design, speification, procurement, construction & Commissioning
• Attending project meetings, assisting with minutes, detailed requirements
• Concept developments
• Detailed specifications
• Tendering on equipment and sub contracts
• CAPEX compiling
• Interacting wih discipine engineers, tasking and tracking progress against agreed deliverables.
• Creating and maintaning project programmes
• Assisting with financial reports on projets
• Site responsibilities, co-ordinating sub contractor efforts and client interface
• Commissioning, including protocal compilation, execution and documentation
• Compilation of Operating and Maintenance manuals

Candidate Requirements

• 0 – 2 years of experience in industries relating to process and facilty design & construction in the pharmaceutical and food Industries
• BSc / BTech in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Elec-Mech, Engineering or Similar
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Continuously seeking to develop personal skills.
• You are motivated, ambitious, and able to multi-task.
• Be prepared to travel and work away from home.
• Meticulous attention to detail is essential.
• A valid driver’s license.
• A valid passport.
