    MEA Regional Operations Manager

    Job description

    CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting for a Project Contract Manager to join the team located in Central Office, Woodmead.

    Role Summary:

    The purpose of the role is to:

    The ROM will be responsible for 6 countries and be fully accountable for their accounts operational, services delivery, and front-facing services at client’s facilities as well as holding local customer relationships. The role is to ensure improvements are achieved and maintained, to respond to client requests and to maintain the highest standards and cost effectiveness. They are also responsible for their site’s financial management including driving cost performance, budgeting, forecasting, and accruals and reporting.

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Leads site financial forecasting requirements for each customer. Drives compliant financial practices to ensure on time and compliant billing.
    • Manages a budget and own analysis of variations and action planning.
    • Drives enhancements to recurring spend actual (Labour/Materials, Optimize Self Perform utilisation, Control Variable spend).
    • Drives initiatives to achieve/exceed budget expectations in the Enclaves.
    • Maintains the work environment, practices and training to avoid accidents and hazards and contributes to a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Ensures contingency plans are in place for emergencies. These include approved business continuity plans, disaster recovery plans etc.
    • Conducts incident reviews and Root Cause Analysis, Site Stand Downs and drive consequence Management for all incidents.
    • Manage Life Cycle Assessment and Capital Planning Process.
    • Drive Operational control through Metrics/KPI Management.
    • Drives continuous improvement and innovation comparative against Divisional goals.
    • Delivers services based on contract scope of work with full understanding of the scope variances by site (e.g. client provided, 3d party, self-perform etc.)
    • Delivers applicable contract deliverables in accordance with prescribed frequencies.
    • Drives Supplier compliance and control
    • Develops multi-year spend profile for all commodities. Optimizes timing of order placement to ensure cost advantage.
    • Rigorous management/assessment of supplier KPI’s
    • Conducts goal setting activities and performance reviews. Manages Personnel, including recruiting, talent development, and succession planning, training, rewarding and taking disciplinary actions.
    • Works with Area Leader and Account team to identify and support Capital Planning replacement projects
    • Identifies scope expansion opportunities through collaboration with area and account leadership
    • Lead the Technical Function for Data Center Management with Technology clients, aligning to the Critical Services Structures in the greater CBRE organization.
    • Inspires and behaves with unquestioned integrity and in accordance with CBRE Ltd Ethics Policy.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Experience working across MEA will be an advantage
    • 7+ Years minimum operations experience of facilities management or service delivery (possible specialist areas such as Critical Environments or M&E).
    • Industry expertise such as Critical Environments, Pharma, Food Manufacturing, Finance and Oil & Gas are valued and preferred.
    • Commercial and financial awareness.
    • People management skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
    • Experience of managing contracts, writing and operating to processes and procedures.
    • PC literate.
    • CMMS experience (WO Management Process) preferred.
    • Extensive proven application of knowledge in various statutory /corporate regulations incl. ISO, BMP, HACCP, GMP, Food & Cosmetics, SHEQ & Labour law would be an advantage.
