Managing the Financial Accounting Function

• Interface management for SAS and LSAS/Local service supplier

• Supporting the MU CFO in all accounting & fiscal matters
• Hosting the accounting platform within a country
• Ensuring compliance with NOKIA accounting principles and procedures
• Supporting/Advising Business in all accounting related matters
• Ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements
• Interface management for SAS and LSAS/Local service supplier

Tasks

• Provides the accounting platform in a country. Oversees the implementation of and adherence to NOKIA Global F&C accounting principles, procedures, reporting concepts and systems to meet financial reporting requirements.
• Ensures compliance with NOKIA Global F&C accounting principles, procedures (including SOX and Internal Controls), and USGAAP/IFRS/local GAAP accounting principles within the country.
• Ensures accurate and on time monthly closing for legal entity.
• Acts as interface between MU CFO and SAS in the country and ensures appropriate level of accounting resources within the country.
• Monitors and ensures data quality and integrity of balance sheet and P&L values.
• Ensures tax efficiency of NOKIA business compliance with local tax/VAT requirements. Prepares deferred tax calculation and implements transfer pricing policies.
• Acts as interface to local/regional authorities. Point of contact for external audit (in cooperation with MU CFO). Manages audit process.
• Line Manager for internal accounting resources
• Member of the Core Country Management team

Additional Requirements

• A professional accountancy qualification is a must. Experience in Financial accounting and strong analytical skills.
• A Chartered Accounting qualification is an added advantage.
