Role Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure code and config management
• Deployment and testing systems
• Review and analysis of Daily Logs
• Firewall Administration
• Security and incident response
• Virtualization/Hypervisor administration
• Patch management

Required Skills

• Experience in a Linux environment
• WebServers (Apache|NginX)
• Mysql/Maria/Percona Servers
• One or more of the following Scripting Languages (Bash, perl, python, php)
• LVM and storage technologies.
• An in depth understanding of the TCP/IP stack and associated Protocols
• Hardening Systems
• Virtualization

Nice to have

• Configuration management tools (Salt, Puppet, Ansible, Chef)
• SeLinux/AppArmour
• NoSQL databases (Mongo, couch, redis)
• Docker/Kubernetes/Mesos
• Jenkins
• PCI DSS Experience
• IPv6 experience
• Knowledge of Standards and Benchmarks (CIS, NIST)
• Routing/VLANS
• Sip/asterisk/elastix/trixbox
• Proxies (NginX, haproxy, proxysq, maxscale)

Qualifications:

• Education in the form of a bachelors degree or relevant diploma.
• Proven experience in required technologies and skills
• A good dose of Passion and Motivation.
