Registration with the HPCSA as Dental Specialist in Orthodontics speciality. A minimum of 3 years’ appropriate experience as an Orthodontist after registration with the HPCSA as a Dental Specialist.
Proven record of teaching at under and postgraduate levels. A track record of supervision or co-supervision of postgraduate research projects. Good standing in the profession and experience in management and supervision of junior staff members.
Duties :
To manage and direct the activities of the department including education and training of undergraduate and postgraduates students, service rendering by providing highly specialised, multi-disciplinary tertiary care. To conduct and publish research and to supervise others in research. Report to the HOD in Orthodontics.
