Primary Purpose(s) Of Position

FMSA inventory & purchase order management on designated set of suppliers. Adhere to the weekly and monthly planning process, while supporting sales, customer services and the Distribution Centre that will enable the company to meet its Inventory budget, Sales budget and Service rate objectives to final customers.

Responsibilities

• Purchase Order Process
• Issue weekly purchase orders & purchase plans to vendors (ZPOD).
• Revise due dates based on actual needs (vendor reconciliations) and follow-up on outstanding purchase orders & chase suppliers.
• Supplier Performance Management
• Build / maintain good relation with suppliers (conference calls, emails, communicator).
• Validate Supply Value Plan & Demand over Capacity Files per supplier with demand analyst.
• Organize / Prepare monthly Collaborative Supply Operation Planning (CSOP) meetings & minutes of meeting (in house or by suppliers, visit).
• Feedback / communicate supply issues to demand planning team and SRM meeting.
• Reporting
• Translate the demand plan into a purchase & inventory plan.
• ZNNA tracking.
• Supplier performance rating (also called Vendor Shipping Performance) & Past Due weekly reporting.
• Projects
• Continuously improve processes.
• Understanding master data + keep data base clean.
• Follow-up on Inventory targets: monitor Excess and non/slow moving inventory and recommend actions (eg repacking).
• Coordinate repacking & rebranding initiatives.
• Coordinate corrective actions to restore product & package quality.
• Masterdata
• NPI management: Manage Master data and initial orders.
• MOQ / RV based on unit packs / layer sizes / pallet sizes.
• Support Daily Operations
• Feedback and communication to all stakeholders (supply control, DC, CS, Sales, Products and Execute
• Committee).
• Answer customer availability inquiries & Key Customer backorder follow up.
• Follow up Customer Fill Rate, analyse missed lines (NNA) and root cause.
• Coordinate with DC-staff and suppliers on physical logistics (lean supply program).
• General
• You undertake to obey, comply and carry out all lawful and reasonable duties and
• instructions, as from time to time assigned to you by your supervisor.

Education

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum/Essential: Bachelor degree preferably in business, logistics, supply chain or engineering

Desirable: Master’s degree in applied economics, engineering or similar

Experience

• Minimum/Essential: 1+ year related experience within supply chain environment

Desirable:

• 2+ years in inventory position, experience in SAP / BW
