They need you to:

• Coordinate and integrate activities across multiple functional lines;
• Ensure timely and effective communication with the project team and project stakeholders;
• Manage project dependencies and team and stakeholder relationships as it relates to the project;
• Provide strong planning and process skills to the team, and assume accountability for the definition and execution of the project plans including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling;
• Take on performance evaluation, and project reporting;
• Facilitate communications between the project team and stakeholders to prevent issues, rectify issues, manage risk and support delivery of the project objectives; and,
• Manage stakeholder expectations.

Job Requirements:

• You need to have experience in delivering IT Projects for any part of the value chain of a typical E-Commerce business (including but not limited to online store, ERP, single item picking warehouse management system, online payments and last mile delivery). This could be for a pure play internet business or for an Omni-channel business which as physical stores plus an online store.
• You will rely on your experience in costing the build and running costs for the IT components for any part of a typical E-Commerce business, detailed understanding of the KPIs used to measure an E-Commerce business (this will assist with stakeholder management) and detailed understanding of the user journeys followed by customers.
• Lastly, a detailed understanding of the tools required by merchandisers, digital marketers, call centre agents and fulfilment staff is a must for you to thrive on the job.
