DEPARTMENT : FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION – CAPE TOWN OFFICE Reports to CFO

Main job responsibilities

• Responsible for the management, control and review of the entire Seartec Debtors book.
• Reduce and minimize exposure and risk to bad debt via credit co-ordinator and lawyers, to maximize collections in line with commercial standards set.
• To maintain current and forward view of credit in line with commercial standards set.
• Prepare weekly and monthly Debtors reports.
• Review age analysis, bad debts, credit limits, customer statements, ACB deduction and credit notes.
• Calculate cash flow forecast.

Qualifications and knowledge

• Relevant formal tertiary Accounting qualification
• ERP system knowledge (Microsoft Navision would be advantageous)
• Microsoft Excel proficiency
• Clear ITC record
