You will apply a substantial body of application solution design professional knowledge within Information Systems and Technology, dealing with a wide range of solution development issues requiring judgement in assessing a variety of complex technical variables and conceptual level business and technical challenges, in the development of software products. You will take responsibility for software design, development, configuration, testing, release, and maintenance.

This role involves research, investigation, modelling, evaluation, making decisions, managing risks, making recommendations and establishing standards for the development and implementation of long and short term objectives of the Department to give effect to efficient software solutions and thereby enhancing service delivery.

Job Requirements

• To apply, you must have 10 years' IT experience in applications development, 5 of which need to be in service-oriented solutions architecture/design in a Microsoft development environment. You'll require at least 5 years' as a C# developer, and at least 3 years' developing SharePoint solutions.
• It will be beneficial to have Software Solutions Development/Design Training, for example a Microsoft Developer Certification.
