Junior Digital Designer at VentureWeb

Job description

We are seeking a talented Junior Digital Designer to provide design support for our South African Digital team by assisting with mock-up reverts, quick turnaround design requirements and to provide design advice on smaller tasks for the Digital Strategists and to assist our Senior Designer with overflow work where required to keep workflow on projects moving effectively.

What you will do…

• Design banner ads, quick turnaround mock-ups, mailer designs and a variety of other digital collateral to keep workflow on projects moving effectively
• Provide design expertise on quick-turnaround projects
• Editing existing mock-ups that require client reverts
• Working closely with Digital Strategists, Senior Designers and Global Accenture Brand division to achieve key design objectives
• Working on the administration requirements associated with managing specific design projects, such as effective time management, billability tracking and following up on projects
• Designing and implementing requirements of VentureWeb’s internal marketing teams, by supporting and adding value to marketing campaigns
• Develop full knowledge and understanding of VentureWeb and clients’ standards and brand, providing design within the confines of the given parameters
• Conform to brand specifications

The qualifications you will need…

• Education required to perform this role
• Either a solid working knowledge of graphic design or a formal qualification in New Media design
• Intermediate understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop
• Experience interpreting basic design briefs
• Experience in design mailers for different email clients
• A technical understanding of WordPress
• UX & UI
• HTML & CSS knowledge
