Job Description
Key Responsibilities

• Project delivery
• Managing a team of Junior Network Design Architects
• Client liaison and business development

Formal Qualification

• Preferable a BSc Computer Science

Experience Requirements

• 4 – 6 years practical experience as a Network Design Architect
• Knowledge of Physical and Logical Design network design
• Know of Firewalling (Cisco, Juniper etc.), commissioning and maintenance
• Know Network Automation
• Know Cisco DMVPN configuration and maintenance
• Knowledge of dynamic routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP)
• Knowledge and experience in Fibre Design
• Knowledge of Linux computer systems
• Knowledge of CCTV and security systems such as access control
• Knowledge of VSAT installations and maintenance
• Knowledge of campus Wi-Fi installations, configuration and maintenance
• Knowledge of interconnecting with 3rd party ISP's
• Strong documentation/writing skills
• Strong ability to work independently
• Business Acumen. The ability to build a business, manage and grow a team of technical people
• Strong client relationship skills
• Strong Project Management abilities

Computer Competency Requirements

• MS Office
• MS Project
• MS Azure
• AutoCAD
• Knowledge of Cisco Network Equipment and firewalls will be an advantage
• Knowledge of Mikrotik Network Hardware
• Knowledge of Juniper Network Hardware
• Knowledge of Visio/CAD software will be an advantage.
