- Overall supervision and management of the Deloitte School of Tax
- Project management and roll out of tax training curriculum and oversight of key processes around live seminar training events assisted by support staff. Managing and overseeing rollout of curriculum inclusive of setting topics and ensuring coherent approach to seminar schedule
- Oversight and management of administrators across the country including three direct reports in Gauteng
- Preparation and/or review of training content in different mediums, inclusive of design and delivery of webinars and eLearning material
- Ability to present well and the delivery of selected learning sessions/events
- Managing overall sales pipeline processes and overseeing and reviewing tender and proposal documents as necessary
- Overseeing and/or implementing marketing initiatives inclusive of digital marketing
- Marketing of seminars, including managing e-mail marketing and invite process at a high level i.e. oversight of database management and e-mail templates and protocols
- Overseeing NQF accreditation process
- Responsible for ongoing development and growth of a full online suite of learning solutions including:
- Webinars
- E-learning
- Short video recordings
- Handbooks
- Existing skills in the online learning environment will be an advantage. Alternatively, you will need to be willing to upskill on eLearning course design skills
- Responsible for driving growth into Africa, specifically via our in-country offices.
- Oversight and ongoing management of the established seminar business and the DSOT team
- Financial administration, including management of budgets on learning session/events as well as monthly reporting requirements
- Manage and build client relationships
- Reporting to a Director who heads up the Deloitte School of Tax
About You
We are looking for someone who has the following qualifications:
- Any commerce degree with tax and accounting included in subjects taken. Honours degree specialising in tax or CA (SA) advantageous, as is an LLB with tax experience
- H Dip/Masters in Tax advantageous
- 5 to 6 years in a Tax environment
- Key differentiators:
- Experience in working in a tax environment at a senior consultant or manager level
- Experience with providing or facilitating tax training/learning programmes and an interest to pursue this area as a career
- Ability to present complexity in an easy to understand way
- Engaging presenting style
- Passion for teaching and learning and development
- Experience in designing and delivery of online training content
