Position Details

CSG International is recruiting for a ‘hands-on’ accountant with a diverse skill set to join its Group Accounting team in Cape Town. Reporting to the Manager - Accounting, the position is a maternity cover role for a period of 7 ½ months (mid May - end Dec).

Overall Management Of The Activities Below

TRANSFER PRICING AND GROUP RELATED:

• Calculation and processing of the Group's transfer pricing entries in line with the Group’s transfer pricing policy;
• Ensuring the elimination of the Group's intercompany entries (income statement and balance sheet) – identification of transactions causing imbalances and helping to resolve these;
• Maintaining monthly foreign exchange rates in Oracle.

Reporting For International Group

ACCOUNTING:

• Preparation of monthly trade debtors reporting for the Group;
• Preparation of monthly Group loans reporting;
• Preparation of quarter end reporting deliverables;
• Processing of monthly Group allocations journals;
• Update analysis/ review for embedded derivatives;

Accounts Preparation And Compliance

• Assist in preparation of audited statutory accounts for entities in Denmark, UK and Guernsey;
• Prepare monthly accounting through to TB for entities in Denmark and UK;

Other

• Deal with internal audit requests;
• General accounting support provided to regional accounting teams;
• Ad Hoc analysis/ reporting on an ‘as requested’ basis.
