Technology Architect and Enterprise Architect at EOH MC Solutions

Job Description

We are looking for architects with the following skills set.

Please note ,these are two separate positions.

Enterprise Architect

• Develop a comprehensive enterprise view across all architecture domains and how the different enterprise architect domains impact each other
• Develop or amend the clients Enterprise Architecture vision / strategy in alignment with business imperatives of the province.
• The enterprise architect is responsible for understanding the organisations strategy and shaping the enterprise architecture to support the strategy, aligning the various domain architecture to achieve the strategic intent.
• The enterprise architect’s role in the various enterprise architecture operating boards and daily tasks must support a strong technical and detailed understanding of the proposed solutions, products and technology, their impact on the various architecture domains, business, cost of ownership and operational impact for maintenance and support.

Desirable

• TOGAF certification
• Public sector experience

Technology Architect

• Provide inputs on to the development and planning of provincial ICT policy and strategy relating infrastructure and ICT security.
• Recommends and participates in activities related to design, development and maintenance of the Technology Architecture
• Develop Technical Roadmaps and related solutions
• Recommends and participates in the analysis, evaluation and development of enterprise long-term strategic and operating plans to ensure that the Enterprise objectives are consistent with the enterprise’s long-term business objectives. Overall ICT solutions on the market for particular technical requirements and business needs.
• Participate in and manage Technology Architecture Workshops for the development and maintenance of the Enterprise.
• Collaborate with all the relevant parties in order to review the objectives and constraints of each solution and determine conformance with the Enterprise Architecture framework and standards. Recommends the most suitable technical architecture and defines the solution at a high level.
• Recommends and participates in the development of architecture blueprints for related systems.
