Client Reporting Analyst at Investec Asset Management

Job Description

The role focuses on the timely and accurate production of our automated client and marketing literature. This includes the production of Quarterly Investment Reports (QIR), Strategy Investment Reports (QR) as well as the Key Investor Information Documents (KIID). As part of a busy Operations team, the individual will work with both the retail and institutional side of the business, forming close relationships with our portfolio managers, client directors, product team, marketing compliance, external agencies and IT.

Key responsibilities include

• Managing the various key stakeholders in the production workflow to ensure input data and commentary is delivered in a timely and accurate manner of QIRs and KIIDs
• Investigate, resolve data issues and Quality Assurance of QIRs & KIIDs
• Ensure the implementation of approved Change Requests
• Data analysis and end user testing for the automated QIRs project
• Production of the annual KIIDs driven by the business and product team, for submission to the regulators
• Assist with the Global monthly automated literature which includes Factsheets (FFS), General Investors Reports (GIRs), Minimum Disclosure Documents (MDDs) and performance data reporting
• Exposure to the regulatory requirement projects i.e. MiFID & PRIIPs

Technical knowledge and experience

• Tertiary educated with 3-5 years working experience
• Financial services experience required, Asset Management industry prefered
• Experience of managing the end to end Client reporting delivery process
• Data analysis and project management/co-ordination essential
• Experience of managing outsourced software providers
• Strong Excel skills and comfortable working with data, specifically manipulating data using pivots, formulas and chart building
• Good PowerPoint skills, specifically maintaining templates and linking slide packs
