    Supply Chain Systems Manager

    Job description

    Dermalogica® is looking for a driven and dynamic Supply Chain Systems Manager. This role involves managing the Supply Chain, Sales Order Processing and Business Reporting & Systems functions of The Dermal Institute of SA.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Industrial Engineering (or equivalent) degree; OR B Com with Supply Chain / Logistics
    • 3-5 years’ leadership experience in a similar role
    • Experience in successfully leading a team

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Supply Chain and Sales Order Processing:
      • Manage and control the supply chain for all inventory purchases from local and international suppliers, and for all inventory sales. This includes inbound logistics, order approval and invoicing, Sales Order Processing management, warehouse management, outbound logistics, returns, query resolution and quality control.
      • Inventory demand planning and ordering to maintain optimal stock levels.
      • Maintain and update accurate records in Great Plains, excel and other systems of all inventory related data.
      • Maintain and communicate supply chain reports accurately and timeously.
      • Manage and report on the inventory of the business to ensure the inventory records are accurate and losses are minimized.
      • Oversee all activities within the sales order processing and warehouse teams.
      • Act as a key conduit between the USA Principal and the SA teams, for any product information.
      • Ensure that all necessary and relevant product information is passed on to internal and external stakeholders this includes but is not limited to informing departments on product information and costings, stock on hand reports, barcodes to load on to ESP etc.
    • Business Information Systems:
      • Preparation of all business reporting excluding financial reporting.
      • Develop and manage the sales forecasting process in collaboration with the Sales teams
      • Manage the Business Analysis function that includes overseeing the development and delivery of key business reports, conducting insightful analysis, and advising the different stakeholders in the business.
      • Facilitate the deals forecasting process with internal departments.
      • Complete quarterly pricing analysis.
      • Drive the management and continuous improvement of all systems in the business namely Great Plains/ Qlikview and internal bespoke systems used for E-Commerce, CRM and Loyalty Programme, including managing relationships with service providers.
      • Participate in the strategic thinking and development of the future direction of the systems used by the company
      • Support the B2C (business to consumer) strategy and driving these B2C projects from inception to implementation.

    General

    • Plan, manage and control budgets for all areas managed.
    • Strategically lead and manage an effective team to ensure that the key KPI’s are achieved. 19. Identify individuals within the team whereby succession planning and training is executed to be in line with company objectives.
