We are now seeking a Principal Asset Integrity Engineer to join our RSA Asset Management team. Reporting to the Service Lead, Africa, you will be responsible for providing maintenance systems specialist and advisory services to Aurecon and its clients.

Key Requirements

• Manage, mentor and direct junior staff members
• Manage client projects
• Lead Asset Integrity reviews of all asset classes in particular Mechanical and Rotating equipment
• Lead and conduct condition assessments
• Advise on standards and codes of practice for asset management of Oil and Gas assets
• Advise on life management strategies for Oil and Gas assets

Key Knowledge Areas

• International and Industry standards for design and maintenance
• International and Industry standards for Asset Management
• Demonstrated Database, Web and software manipulation capability
• Exposure to plant operation, design practices, commissioning/start up.
• Production/Processing Plant/Refinery/Offshore maintenance experience.
• Supervision, team leader and/or mentoring experience.
• Excellent technical writing / communication skills

Key Requirements

• Tertiary degree from a recognised university;
• 10 years post graduate experience in asset integrity management;
• Minimum 15 years mechanical engineering experience;
• Minimum 10 years' experience in the hydrocarbon/mining industry working in a professional asset integrity management capacity.
