QC Inspector at Amec Foster Wheeler

Job Description

Amec Foster Wheeler is currently recruiting for a Q A inspector with extensive experience in the Mining and Minerals industry to be based on site in Cullinan, South Africa.

Ensure compliance with the project's total quality assurance / quality control processes, procedures and systems
Maintain and ensure compliance with policy and procedures ensuring that all products and services meet quality standards as required in terms of ISO9000
Ensure that materials and equipment are fabricated according to the drawings, bills of material and specifications of the contract
Maintain accurate inspection and QCP records
Bring problems to the attention of the QC Inspector and QC manager - investigate and rectify highlighted problems

Skills / Qualifications

• Trade qualification, Level 1 Inspector
• IS9000 certification
• Minimum SAIW Level 1
• Minimum of 10 years experience in QA / QC inspection on site constructing a Process Plant, preferably within the engineering sector
• Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written.
