Hose Operator - Johannesburg at Weir Minerals

Purpose of Role: Build hoses according to the specification and Quality of the Hose must be visibly in good order.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare flanges and rubber; Load and unload Mandril; Operate the Hose machine and Hose bend machine; Operate the cutting machine.
• Trimming of hoses; Manufacture of sleeves.
• Follow SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and adherence of all HSE and housekeeping requirements.
• Always Adhere to Duty of Care Policy.
• Read Drawings.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12).
• 1 – 2 years of related experience.
